These are the moments we need to cherish and take advantage of. Our plan is to do an outing like this at least once every 2 months. Everyone’s busy, but we have to make time for family.

Today, I allowed myself to become overwhelmed. I generally don’t do well when Aiden is sick and that mainly because I feel helpless and saddened by the fact that he’s not feeling well. For me though, this time was a little different. 

Let me start off by saying that I really hate cleaning.  It’s just a task that I’m forced to do and I don’t like it.  I can clean, I know how to clean, I just don’t want to do it–ever.  But let’s face it, it has to get done.

So this is something that women typically struggle with on a regular day–rummaging through the closet to find something to wear when getting ready to go out, but I find it much harder nowadays. 

I knew that things would change after Aiden was born, but I didn’t know it was going to be like this. Of course, there’s an adjustment period, but I completely fell off.

My little one is the most inquisitive person I know. I’m so proud to see a strong sense of learning and curiosity implanted in him. But as we all know, there are the more so challenging times associated with mommyhood.
